After months of hemming and hawing, not sure Freida was the right thriller bandwagon for me, I finally read Housemaid. Boy, do I wish I'd jumped on sooner. I loved this book. The writing is tight. The curve balls are major league. The characters are layered and, in some cases, deliciously despicable. it kept me on the edge of the couch. And I can't wait to read The Housemaid's Secret and the The Housemaid is Watching.
